China Tour Quotes: What's Included & What Changes the Cost

A useful China tour quote explains what the proposed journey covers and what still needs confirmation. Start with the same route, dates and travellers, then compare accommodation, transport, guiding, admissions and change conditions item by item. Share your requirements to request a tailored proposal; an enquiry is not a confirmed booking.

Send the details that shape the proposal

State your preferred destination or published route, approximate travel dates, number of travellers, arrival and departure cities, and the pace that suits your party. Mention whether the trip must follow fixed dates, whether you are considering a private arrangement or asking about a small group, and any significant luggage or walking requirements. If flights are undecided, say so; an invented arrival time can make an otherwise sensible transfer plan misleading.

Chinese and English enquiries are available, while the language of the person accompanying the trip must be confirmed for the requested arrangement. Share a way to contact you through the enquiry form. There is no need to put passport scans or sensitive medical details in an initial enquiry.

Compare what is included, excluded or still open

A route name alone does not define the service. Put each written proposal beside the same list of questions. If an item is described only as a possibility, mark it as pending rather than treating it as included. This table is a comparison tool, not a list of services included in every PandaRoam trip.

Understand what can change the cost

Dates, party size, room allocation, overnight bases, travel distance and service days can change the work and reservations needed for the same broad route. A private vehicle, a separate guide and a driver-guide are different requests; confirm the actual duties, language and any time boundaries before comparing them. A small-group enquiry also depends on a suitable route and an available departure, which must be confirmed for your dates.

A lower total is not automatically better if the comparison leaves out transfers, admissions or a guide you expected. A higher total is not proof that these items are included. Ask for the written scope behind each proposal instead of relying on a headline figure. PandaRoam does not publish a universal price for these changing arrangements on this page.

Compare two proposals on the same basis

Before deciding, write down the requirements you would give both providers. Then label every line of each proposal included, excluded or pending. If one proposal uses a different route or hotel base, ask for a version covering the same requirements or record the trade-off explicitly. This makes the decision more useful than comparing totals for two different journeys.

For example, if both proposals describe a Shanghai and Suzhou trip, check whether both use the same number of nights in each city and whether the city-to-city movement is included. This is a comparison example, not a guest booking or a claim about what a published PandaRoam product includes.

  1. Write one shared brief: route, dates, travellers, rooms, arrival and departure points, pace and language needs.
  2. Mark each transport, accommodation, guiding, admission and meal item as included, excluded or pending in each proposal.
  3. Ask for written clarification where a line is missing or the two routes, hotel bases or service days differ.
  4. Review payment, change and cancellation conditions before treating either proposal as final.

Check availability and change conditions before booking

A planning page and an enquiry form cannot confirm hotel rooms, rail tickets, attraction reservations or a shared-group departure. For your actual dates, ask which items are confirmed, which depend on availability and when a decision is needed. If a route includes a seasonal attraction or a long transfer, ask what alternative applies if access changes.

Confirm the final route, inclusions, exclusions, guide language, payment schedule and cancellation conditions in writing. If the proposal changes, request a revised version showing what changed. Do not treat a contact click, draft itinerary or initial quotation as a reservation.

Use this checklist for your enquiry

A short, specific enquiry makes it easier to compare a later written proposal with what you actually asked for. Copy the points below into the message field and replace them with your own details. Leave uncertain items marked as undecided; there is no need to guess or share sensitive documents.

After sending the enquiry, retain a copy of your requirements. When a proposal arrives, compare it with the scope table above and ask about any missing item before agreeing to the booking conditions.

  1. Destination or published route; preferred dates and any flexibility; arrival and departure cities.
  2. Number of travellers, room arrangement, luggage or walking needs, and preferred daily pace.
  3. Private trip or small-group enquiry; any car-only or guide-only requirement; requested on-tour language.
  4. Items you particularly want included or quoted separately, plus anything you are still deciding.
